Kids Save Apes

Dear Members-

Last year, Kids Save Apes tried to organize a Lemonade Challenge. It didn't work out as planned. Not many groups got active enough to make it work, but I know this year, we can do a lot better, can't we? Think. We can't let these precious years where the apes are still with us go to waste! We have to work hard, and in the end, it will be so worth the fight

Here's how it is going to work-

1. Organize a group. Find a group of potential kids in your area who would be interested in joining KSA (if they are not already members) and organizing the lemonade stand with you.
   
2. Decide on dates with your group. Is this going to be a lemonade stand that lasts all of July and August? Just one week? One day? You decide on a time that works for you and your group and let KSA know!
3. Set a goal for your group. Whether it is $5 or $500, set a goal that you think is reasonable for the amount of time you are having the lemonade stand.
4. Decide on a team name! Yes, this is challenging, but it is also FUN!! Be creative with your team name. (Some last year included the Chimp Wimps and the Lemon-Apes!)

  Above will be put on the KSA website (except the email!) so members can keep track of team goals. Teams should keep in contact with me during their lemonade stands to let me know how much you have raised so far , and send pictures of your group in front of your stand, that will be put on the site. (...with parental permission of course!)
  

Also, if you would like to do an individual stand, you can do that too, but still find a creative name for your stand and fill out the info above.

After you have had your lemonade stand, I will give you my address to send the proceeds to. The winning team- (team with the most money raised)- will decide on which charity all of the money from the fund will go to, and if there is a certificate, it will be put in the name of your lemonade group, and sent to you!
